Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is A to Z Autos, Inc. a good place for me to buy a car?
A: We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau of Southwest Florida. We consistently do more retail volume than any other used car dealer in Sarasota County because we have the lowest prices, and we are the most flexible and accommodating lender around.

Q: What do I have to do to get financed at A to Z?
A: Just bring your license or passport, insurance, and down payment or trade in.

Q: How long does it take to buy a car at A to Z?
A: After you pick out the right vehicle for you, writing the deal takes less than 10 minutes. If you have a plate to transfer, bring that. If you do not yet have insurance, we have several local and online companies that will be happy to get you insured.

Q: How do I know I am getting a good vehicle?
A: We insist you test drive any vehicle you are interested in. You are also welcome to take it to a mechanic for inspection. The owner inspects each vehicle before purchase and each vehicle gets a full recondition from our three fulltime on site mechanics. Since we finance almost very vehicle we sell, we have to know they are mechanically sound. That is your peace of mind.

Q: What makes A to Z better than other buy-here, pay-here dealerships?
A: Our prices are marked on the each vehicle's windshield, which means unlike other dealership that just think of a high number when you get to the signing table, we stand by our low prices and offer $270/month payments on every vehicle on the lot.

Q:Why wouldn't I just buy a car by owner on Craigslist?
A: First off, 3 out of every 4 by owner ads on Craigslist are not private owners, but curbstoners, which are out of business old dealers or people working under a dealers license presenting a car for a quick sale commonly hiding unsafe defects. Second, when you add up all the things that you have to do to that vehicle to get it in the shape that an A to Z vehicle is in, you will not save any money. Third, you have a variety of vehicles to choose from right in one spot and you do not have to drive all over the state looking at vehicles and you do not have to go down to the DMV to do your registration, pay your taxes, or do your plate work because we do that all for you.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment to see a vehicle there?
A: No, but we do recommend you call and tell us you are coming so we can hold the vehicle you want to see so it won't be sold to someone else before you get here. We are open 7 days a week to serve our customers.
